JENKEM: UNEARTHING 90S SKATE & HIP-HOP FOOTAGE WITH JACOB ROSENBERG

Craving a history lesson but don’t feel like paying for a museum ticket? Tired of the Roman Empire and other boring topics? Perhaps illiterate? Well, I hope not, because then you wouldn’t know what I’m saying right now (dumbass, jk).

If all but the last rings true, we have the perfect video for you. An afternoon with Jacob Rosenberg that is part career retrospective, part story time, and part house tour. You might know Jacob from his historic run with Plan B, creating videos like Questionable, Virtual Reality, and Second Hand Smoke.

You might also know him from his work with Del the Funky Homosapien, De La Soul, and other quintessential 90s rappers. If you don’t know him from either, I’d like a 2,000 word paper, single spaced on my desk tomorrow about why.

To celebrate his new book, "Right Before My Eyes" Jacob was kind enough to let us stomp around his home and tell us stories from his long career. Not to get sappy here at the end, but I always wished I listened to more of my grandparents stories while I still could. So shut up and listen!
